One hundred and forty six miles west of Auburn, 26 architecture students are living in a rural town of 186 residents: Newbern, Ala. These select students have chosen to give up either a semester or a full year in Auburn to participate in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction's award-winning program, Rural Studio.
