I just wanted to let you know that I, Amy Bentley, actually wrote a large portion of it beginning with the section reading "Auburn is so much more than a city..." to the end. I have seen my writing rewritten and added to many times, but, while Mr. Stewart may have written the beginning portion, I assure that I am the original author of most of it. Feel free to double check me. It was originally written as an email to some close friends and family and was printed in the Ball State Game Program (2001) in the "From the Desk of David Housel" portion. I had it copyrighted in 2003 under the title "From the Heart of a Tiger." My only intent was for other members of the Auburn family to enjoy it, but I would appreciate being given proper credit.
