Unusual PE story for you. Univ of Pennsylvania was founded by Ben Franklin long time ago. He had a family member that died because she couldn't swim. Every incoming freshman at Penn must pass a swimming test during the opening week of school. If that person fails swimming test, swimming is the required freshman PE assignment. PE is required for the first year at Penn.But,participation on one of Penn's sports teams fills the requirement and ends up giving the school a lot of "walk on" athletes. I liked your PE article and welcome as a friend!
