Stuart Hunt, a senior at Auburn University, was born in Atlanta, Ga.

In 2001 Hunt moved to Telluride, Colorado.

“My family was wanting a change and the move was not supposed to be permanent. The plan was to go for 6 months and then move back,” Hunt said.

Hunt and his family had vacationed in Telluride many times and were familiar with the town.

Kate Petrusnek speaks of the fulfillment her major brings

Kate Petrusnek is a senior at Auburn University majoring in special education. 

“I knew I wanted to stay close to home and that I wanted to go to a bigger school. I was deciding between Ole Miss and Auburn, and it wasn’t until I attended the Auburn vs. LSU game in 2008 that everything clicked. I was in the stadium and just knew that I would be really happy at Auburn University.

Serene Bateh, senior in Communications benefits from internships

 Bateh interned in Washington, D.C. this summer for her hometown congressman, Andrew Crenshaw.

Bateh is from Jacksonville, Florida and lived with her cousin in Washington.

 “I thought it would further my communication skills in the work environment as well as give me good connection outlets for a possible job after college,” said Bateh.

On a daily basis Bateh arrived to work at 9:30 a.m. and would usually give one tour of the capital a day to tourists visiting…
