You Can't Do Everything, Just Do Something

On a normal Tuesday night, more than 100 students eat dinner for free at Auburn Christian Fellowship (ACF). Some students stay after dinner to help wash dishes. Making an Impact through Project Uplift

There is a way for Auburn students to get involved in the community, be a role model and play with Nerf guns.Hannah Rushin, a junior in communication disorders, spends a few hours each week with Jay, her 6-year-old “little brother.” Rushin is a volunteer for the Project Uplift program. Spotlight on MelAUdic: Auburn’s A Cappella All-Stars

MelAUdic (pronounced muh-lod-ik) is Auburn’s newest a cappella group. You heard them at Hey Day. You heard them at Wing Jam. If you were lucky, you heard them open for Pentatonix back in August. Auburn students can’t get enough a cappella music.

Last year, senior William McClain was inspired to start a coed a cappella group. He was already a member of AUCappella, Auburn’s all-male singing group.

Threats of a tropical storm almost forced the brothers of Kappa Kappa Psi to cancel the Live. Laugh. Run. 5k on Sunday, Oct. 6. When the day arrived, the sky was clear.

Kappa Kappa Psi is a national honorary band service fraternity.
