Making a Difference

Mattie Magill, a freshman from Ocala, Florida, is excited about becoming a kindergarten teacher when she graduates from Auburn. On Wednesday February 16, 2011 the worst possible news spread across the plains like wild fire. Auburn University sent out an official newsletter informing students that Toomer’s Corner oak trees had been poisoned by herbicide.
