Auburn University’s Committee of 19, College of Agriculture and Art Department have joined forces to take a stand in the war on hunger by sponsoring the 2012 Empty Bowls Banquet. The event is set for Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. The event will be held at The Alabama Farmers Pavilion at Ag Heritage Park, located at 620-A S. Donahue Drive.
If you were asked, ”where does your food come from?” what would you say? Many simply think, “the grocery store,” but don’t think much past that.
