Students at Auburn have become well aware of the many philanthropy fundraisers that take place each semester. Every sorority and fraternity on campus choose one organization to partner with and host an event to raise money each semester.
This semester is Kappa Alpha Theta’s second annual Rock the CASA, a 5K fun run benefitting CASA, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates.

On November 3rd, Blanche Alverson was crowned Miss Homecoming. Alverson was a unique candidate because she is also a member of the Auburn women’s basketball team, and is working towards a major in biomedical sciences. Despite her commitment to her team and her schoolwork, Alverson was able to run a successful campaign and raise awareness for her platform, Ballin’ for Books.
