Spreading the Sisterhood

The meaning of sisterhood is no foreign concept to Kappa Delta Sorority. The KD chapters of Auburn University and Furman University are coming together to help two sisters in a time of need.



Olivia Cain of Auburn and Perrin Thompson of Furman have both recently been diagnosed with cancer. These two young women are both experiencing an unexpected curve as they have had to leave their friends and college experiences behind to face uncertain times.

Miss Auburn 2010 Defines Auburn

The sophomore communication disorders major, Rebecca Hart is Auburn. Hart is Miss Auburn University 2010, a member of SGA (Student Government Association), and a War Eagle Parent Couselor. She grew up in Alabama and claims she bleeds orange and blue.

Local Singer/Songwriter to Release 'The Acoustics'

Kristen Hines is a local Auburn singer/songwriter from Marietta, Ga. She has gained a local following by playing at coffee shops and churches in the area. Hines is currently working on a series of EPs called,

Erin Hutchins:: I Am Involved. I Am Auburn.

Erin Hutchins graduated from Auburn University last spring with bachelor’s degrees in political science and English. Even though she had many options after graduation, she chose to stay and attend Auburn’s public administration graduate program.

Newton in the New

With hopes to transition from an NFL quarterback to an owner of his own daycare, Auburn football’s newest quarterback Cameron Newton is no stranger to the words “move” and “change.”

A Bond Between a Ministry and a Home

The Auburn Wesley Foundation has brought students together in more than just a spiritual way. Ten ladies joined together and actually camped out at Northcutt Realty the night before people could rent out homes and apartments. Gerrit DeWitt was born and raised in Auburn, Ala., attended Auburn High School and got a degree in Mathematics from Auburn University. He loves Auburn so much he decided to take a job here too!

The James E. Foy Information Desk has been answering questions 24 hours a day about everything from Auburn football scores to the number of marshmallows it takes to fill Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Senior Public Relations Student on Fast Track to Graduate

For most students, a college degree takes four years to obtain. For ambitious and hard working

individuals like senior public relations student Maegan Moguel, it is possible to earn your degree in

As a little girl growing up in Oneonta, Ala. Faith Palmer dreamed of becoming a cheerleader at Auburn University. Although most childhood dreams come to fade, Palmer’s stayed fast.

Twenty-one year old Rachel Wilson is a junior at Auburn University. And as she said, “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”



Born and raised in Marietta, GA, a suburb outside of Atlanta, Wilson grew up in a supportive and loving family. Her brother, Brad Wilson, is an Auburn alum, and that is what initially made her consider the university.
