Sunday, October 11, 2015, Active Minds at Auburn University teamed up with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, or AFSP, to host an Auburn-Opelika Out of the Darkness Community Walk. The event took place on Auburn's Green Space from 3 p.m. till 5 p.m.

The day Ben Baker was accepted into Auburn University was the day his life-long dream finally came true.
Following his graduation from Sylacauga High School in 2012, Ben attended an alternate university for two years before deciding to take a leap of faith and apply to Auburn.
“I just sat in my chair and thanked God. It was truly one of the best days of my life,” said Ben as he explained the emotion felt after being accepted to the university.

The fact that Jordan-Hare Stadium won’t host an Auburn football game until Halloween is a sad reality for Tiger fans on the Plains.
