Many stores have decided that Christmas is coming extremely early this year. Stores usually start to put out decorations early, but not near as early as they have this year. The Hortman family Christmas is very traditional and exudes the Christmas spirit of being with family and enjoying each other’s company. Izzy Hortman is a senior in public relations who is graduating in December 2011.
The Hortman family is made up of 25 people and with such a large crowd of people means a lot of great food. All holidays in the Hortman family are always accompanied with food.

As this is our last year at Auburn University, it is no surprise that my roommate and I have started some traditions over the years. During the holiday season The Loveliest Village looks picture perfect. Lights adorn the trees downtown, the Christmas tree on Samford Lawn looks flawless with lights and red bows and everybody is bundled up adjusting to the ‘cold’ weather.
