Kappa Delta Sorority to Hold 21st Annual Shamrock 5K Run

The Sigma Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta sorority at Auburn University is hosting its 21st Annual Shamrock 5K Run on Saturday, March 1, 2013, at 8 a.m. The run will be held at Willow Hall, located in the Village dorms, on Wire Road at Auburn University. All ages are welcome, and the run will go on, rain or shine.

Kappa Delta puts on the Shamrock 5K Run each year to raise money and awareness for the prevention of child abuse. Last year, $16,500 was raised for Prevent Child Abuse…

Joing a Sorority Not Only to Make Memories, But to Serve the Community

The feeling of anxiety, nervousness and excitement overwhelms the thousands of 18 year-old girls that go through recruitment each year in order to become part of a social sorority while they attend college. The hope is that becoming part of a sorority will allow them to interact with girls with similar interest.

Panhellenic Pride

Monday, March 7 is Panhellenic International Badge Day. Women in all chapters of Panhellenic life are encouraged to participate by wearing their sorority badge on this day.
