The week of Feb. 14, 2011 the Auburn family was heartbroken. Not because they did not receive chocolate, flowers or a card from a valentine, but because a tradition that thousands had fallen in love with was poisoned. Rolling the Toomer’s Corner Oak Trees has been a tradition that many respect and admire.
