Auburn Flyers: A September Timelapse - Auburn to Florida - 214 Miles

Sgt. Maj. Bennie Adkins and President Barack Obama :: Medal of Honor Ceremony

Sgt. Maj. Bennie G. Adkins received the Medal of Honor today from President Barack Obama in a White House ceremony.  Auburn's Maggie and Johnny Lawrence were among a group of local friends and family supporting Adkins in this remarkable day of events.  

Adkins lives in Opelika and taught accounting at Auburn University years ago.
