Playing With Heart

The torrential rain and the ominous clouds

Couldn't dampen the spirit of the Auburn Crowd.

They remained in the stands and celebrated with song

And hoped waiting out the storm would not take too long.

At the games beginning, the Mountaineers seemed grounded

They slammed us with two touchdowns

And our fans were astounded!

Then, finding their balance after such a shaky start,

Our Auburn men rallied and began playing with heart!

They fought, scratched and clawed their way to the top;

As if driven with a fire that no one could stop!

Now looking ahead to the Cardinals of Ball State,

And knowing anything can happen when they open that gate;

We must remain humble Auburn Tigers, but keep hope alive;

And fight to the finish with that fiery Auburn drive!

Coach Chizik is so grateful to the entire Auburn Nation

For their united heartfelt spirit and fan participation!

We can never underestimate the power of our opponent

Because anything can happen at any given moment!

So keep Loud all you Auburn Fans,

And stay with our men to the end!

Then a victory is ours and the celebration can begin!!
