Auburn University, (formerly East Alabama Male College) was established in 1856. The name was changed again in 1899 to Alabama Polytechnic Institute, and finally to Auburn University in 1960. Auburn University is now home to 25,134 students and it is still one of the nation’s few land, sea, and space grant universities. The school offers more than 140 undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs, across 13 schools.

Auburn’s College of Consumer and Design Sciences offers a BS in Apparel Merchandising, Design, and Production Management (BS-AMDP). Two options are available including Apparel Merchandising and Apparel Design and Production Management. Both options offer access to a ten-week professional internship during the final year of study.
