In the recent edition, Diverse: Issues in Higher Education listed the Top 100 Degree Producer rankings of the institutions that confer the most degrees to minority students.
Auburn University received a top 100 ranking in 26 categories, including a #7 ranking in undergraduate degrees awarded to African American Engineering majors: the third highest of non-HBCUs in the country and the highest ranking of non-HBCUs in Alabama.
Auburn University also ranked highly for undergraduate degrees awarded to African Americans in these categories: #14 in Architecture and Related Services; #23 in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics; #25 in Agriculture and Related Sciences; #44 for Finance and Financial Management; #49 for Biological and Biomedical Sciences; and #53 for Mathematics and Statistics.
Auburn University also received Top 100 rankings for degrees conferred to Native Americans (#37 in Social Sciences; #43 in Education; #55 in Business Management and Marketing); Hispanics (#58 in Hospitality Administration; #69 in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences); and Asian-Americans (#92 in Education.)
