BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – Birmingham's Brasfield & Gorrie is part of the development team that will build the new baseball park and surrounding complex for the Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball team in Atlanta.
American Builders 2017 – a joint venture between Brasfield & Gorrie, Minneapolis-based Mortenson Construction, Detroit-based Barton Malow Co.and Atlanta's New South Construction – won the Cobb County Board of Commissioners' approval to be the construction manager of the new ballpark, scheduled to open in early 2017.
This is a wonderful moment for the company as Brasfield & Gorrie will observe its 50th anniversary on June 28, 2014.
Today, the company employs approximately 2,600 employees, and its annual revenues are approximately $2.3 billion.
