"When it came to picking colleges, there were no other options for me. I didn't even look anywhere else. My older brother Michael decided to go to Auburn and I followed in his footsteps. I know I made the right choice by going to Auburn," said Nicole Thomason.
She proved to be perfectly suited to Auburn's campus life. Always where the fun was, Nicole captured a rave at Auburn's library. (Video, right)
She jumped right in to campus life, too. "Involvement is a very common word in my vocabulary," said Nicole. The concept is epitomized by one of her favorite quotes. "It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life that's in your years." - Abraham Lincoln
Among Nicole's activities at Auburn:
Nicole is the primary author of the Walls Media blog. She also is the firm's internship supervisor. That makes things interesting because, what do you know - Spring 2012 Auburn alumna Becca Barganier is now an intern at Walls Media and she is also posting to the blog.
As time passed, other opportunities began to appear for Nicole.
"After meeting wedding dress designer, Heidi Elnora, she asked me to be the PR Director for Birmingham Fashion Week 2012 (BFW). It was a great experience getting to write the press releases and meet all of the talented designers and models," said Nicole.

Nicole's appetite for activity cannot be content solely with work, planning community events and more ... so, in her 'other free time' Nicole is also a creative craftsy entrepreneur.
Introducing ... Nikki Alexa Designs
"Nikki Alexa Designs is something I've been thinking about doing for years. My grandmother's love of fashion was a big influence. She owned Fotini's Couturier in English Village (Mountain Brook, Ala.) and as a child I watched her sew and create items for some of Birmingham's finest," said Nicole.
"I make the jewelry in my free time and am now starting to sell different pieces. If you ask anyone who knows me, they will most likely tell you that I love make jewelry," said Nicole. "It's a hobby that I enjoy and I hope to expand the variety of my designs as I go. It's an opportunity to express myself and be creative by doing something I love and sharing it with others."
