The College of Liberal Arts recently sent four public relations graduate students to compete for first place in a national challenge in Washington, D.C.
America’s Natural Gas Alliance, or ANGA,held a Collegiate Energy Challenge and invited the top three universities to present their campaigns to compete for first place. Rebecca Orr, Matthew Ingram, Trevor Hannum, and Sarah Mather were students in Brigitta Brunner-Johnson’s Public Relations Theory class. Throughout spring semester, they, along with other students in the class, formed an in-class working marketing agency, Auburn Communication Solutions, to research, implement and evaluate an integrated marketing campaign designed to educate and inform people about the benefits of natural gas as an energy source.
