Although Auburn senior Kiah Erlich may be far from home, staying active in the Executive Society has made her time here fly by like seagulls across the rapid blue waves of Shell Beach, Calif.
Erlich participates in activities that increases her knowledge and connections in the business world while gaining real-world experiences with professionals before she enters the field of Aviation Management. She is ‘taking care of business’ while utilizing the benefits of being in the Executive Society through the College of Business.

The Executive Society worked with the Office of Advancement to create a College of Business student-centered giving campaign. The 2010 Student Giving Campaign strives to get students to get in the habit of monetarily giving back to the university. “Students are encouraged to give, and by doing so, we are made aware of the institution’s need for private giving,” Erlich said. Executive Society members take time out of their schedule to contribute to the advancement of Auburn by encouraging students to give and selling t-shirts. “This is a great cause because all the proceeds will go towards a scholarship for a needy student in the College of Busniess,” Erlich said. The College of Business brings in other service projects that the Executive Society hosts for the students. “We have a College of Business Career Expo where were meet the business, serve lunch and host the event for the students to attend,” Erlich said. Other events include and Aviation Management and Supply Chain Expo, War Eagle Day, the Dean’s Advisory Council, the Dean’s Appreciation Reception and a graduation reception. “During our office hours, the society recruits for the College of Business, giving parents and prospective students in-depth answers and interaction to any questions they may have about the college,” Erlich said. Erlich credits the College of Business for allowing her to network with Auburn alumni and other prominent business leaders which she hopes to help her in her job search after graduation. During football seasons, the members host a tent for at least four home games for the Shareholder’s Club through the Office of Advancement. The most relationships are created in this fun environment between the college business students and its donors. Erlich still knows to have fun while she is taking care of business with the Executive Society. Erlich can recall a time where she had to hold her giggles in while working with herteam of host to push water off a tailgate tent on a rainy game day on thePlains. “It was hard, but we had to remain professional in front of the Dean of the Collegeof Business and the shareholder club members,” Erlich said. Erlich encourages undergraduate sophomores, juniors and seniors to apply this Springfor the Executive Society.
