Whether you are an avid biker who enjoys participating in races or someone who rides just for fun, the 11th Annual Bike Bash on May 1 has something for you. According to Kirk Iversen, who is on both the city of Auburn and Auburn University’s bike committee, the purpose of the bash is, “to get people on their bikes and show them some nice rides around town.”

If you’re looking for an easy way to make someone happy, join Auburn’s Best Buddy program. According to Sarah Dowling, a special education major, the Best Buddies program is, “where college students volunteer to spend time with individuals with intellectual disabilities.”
