BCS Bowl

Does AU have any plans to televise the game on campus? We can not afford to go to AZ. Seeing the game at AU would at least let in on the excitement of winning the National Championship.

My Auburn Holiday

As this is our last year at Auburn University, it is no surprise that my roommate and I have started some traditions over the years. We always decorate the house, pretending like it will be a surprise, for each others’ birthdays. We always put out candy and decorations for Halloween. But, our favorite holiday to prepare for has to Christmas.

Trophy Case expansion announced for football facility

I don't think there will be any complaints about building an annex for the hardware our 2010 team is collecting. War Eagle.

Merry Thanksmas from the Loveliest Village!

During the holiday season The Loveliest Village looks picture perfect. Lights adorn the trees downtown, the Christmas tree on Samford Lawn looks flawless with lights and red bows and everybody is bundled up adjusting to the ‘cold’ weather.

New Traditions

Every student at Auburn can breath a sigh of relief once they finished their finals and can see Christmas break in the distance.

Even though finals can sometimes get the best of any students, Christmas break is a time for all to relax and enjoy the simple life before heading back to the books.

Fantastic Victory

This season has been remarkable. First off, we have some very close games where we were behind. Then we play in the Iron Bowl and at half time the TV commentators are talking about how our predicted loss would effect the BCS standings. The SEC Championship comes around and we blow out South Carolina. I am lucky to have good friends at the Raptor Center who make me feel a part of the Auburn Family.

'Tis The Season To Be A Tiger

Everyone in the Auburn family knows that tradition is of great importance to its members. This value isn't just when it comes to school spirit. It also extends to our non-Auburn related lives, or that's the case with me at least. Auburn is always involved, though.

Thanksgiving in particular is a time when traditions are upheld. My family has quite a few traditions that we continue each Thanksgiving. We all stand together and hold hands before we eat to bless our food. Everyone draws… Continue

Turkey and Dressing at the Seashore

During this year’s Thanksgiving week, my family traveled to our beach house in Panama City. My parents bought a beach house just this summer, and this is the first year we have ever spent Thanksgiving away from Birmingham. I was nervous that it wouldn’t feel like the holidays if we were at the beach. Luckily, I was proven wrong.

¡Gracias for your Hard Work!

Tacos, rice and pico de gallo are not your typical Thanksgiving Day foods, but they are when you are in Mexico.

While everyone else was wearing scarves and coats, me and 200 other dedicated Southwestern Company interns were sunbathing on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta.

Every summer, Southwestern Company’s internship, direct sales of educational products by students from 400 different universities, offers a sales incentive for students.…

All I Want for Christmas is a National Championship

It's that time of year again folks. Time to deck the halls, decorate the tree and spread joy and happiness everywhere you go.

A Christmas Tradition Inspired by Leukemia

The stockings are hung, the tree is decorated, the presents are wrapped and every channel on the television features a Christmas story. It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Christmas is one day out of the year when families take time out of their busy schedules to spend quality time together.

Every family has their own personal spin on Christmas traditions. Every family has them and none are the same. Christmas traditions can be passed down from generation to…

Thanksgiving with the AUMB

On Thanksgiving Day, as most people were settling in to their post-Thanksgiving-meal nap, the Auburn University Marching Band took to the football team’s lighted practice field to get ready for the next day’s 75th Iron Bowl in Bryant-Denny Stadium against the University of Alabama.
